Information handled by the app
The app lets you photograph an item and enter a barcode or manual code, item name, condition, notes, and a local inventory record.
Local storage and transmission
Scan It Go stores workflow data in the app's storage on the iPhone. The current public version does not transmit item photos, barcodes, names, conditions, notes, or inventory records to Fryer Kings LLC or to a product-data provider.
Apple-managed device or iCloud backups may include app data according to the user's Apple settings. That backup behavior is not Scan It Go cloud sync.
Camera and photos
The app requests camera access only when the user chooses to take a photo. If camera access is denied, barcode and item details can still be entered manually.
Website access
Opening Privacy, Terms, or Support launches the device browser. Cloudflare, which hosts these pages, may process ordinary request and security logs when the pages are visited. These pages contain no account form, advertising, analytics script, payment flow, or customer messaging service.
Retention and deletion
The current version has no in-app account and no operator-held copy of local item records. Deleting the app removes its local container from the iPhone, subject to Apple's backup and restore behavior. Users should preserve any records they need before deleting the app.
